Your mistakes are your real voice….

As some of you may know from previous blog posts, I’ve been having a rocky ride with a return to figurative painting.

Having done abstract work and land art for years and years, I’ve felt increasingly drawn to images of the Divine Feminine, to works that are primitive and earthy and…. um… figurative.

Now, making things look like things is not my strong point, never has been.  I reckon one of the reasons I’m a good teacher of drawing is because I’ve found it so hard myself, I’ve uncovered a vast toolbox of techniques to get better at it!
